Sykes Announces Partnership with Volkswagen Group of Canada

Sykes Assistance Services (Sykes) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Volkswagen Group of Canada, whereby Sykes will provide Roadside Assistance to Volkswagen and Audi vehicles for Volkswagen Canada and Audi Canada over the next 3 years.  Sykes participated in a competitive bid process and was selected, in part, based on its organizational skills, innovative spirit and roadside expertise.  Both organizations look forward to taking the Volkswagen Roadside Assistance program to the next level. 

Sykes will begin to service Volkswagen’s 180,000 vehicle base, along with 33,000 Audi and 18,000 Certified Pre-Owned vehicles on September 01st, 2009.  Owners will receive coverage upon purchase of a new vehicle for 48 months, or 80,000 km’s.  Certified pre-owned vehicle owners can opt into coverage for 24 months. 

Volkswagen Roadside Assistance will offer members peace of mind when they are on the road, easy access to a 24/7 service oriented call centre, access to North American tourism information and maps, and most important, immediate help if a roadside emergency occurs.  Although all details related to add-ons have not been finalized, Volkswagen Roadside Assistance will include towing services, boost services, tire changes and lockouts.
